Norm Randall is the proud co-owner/operator of Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, a restaurant that specializes in American fare AND the newly created Fresh Eats Catering LLC and Fresh Med Food Truck. His restaurant has been going strong for the past 12 years, opening in the summer of 2004.

Norm was born in 1971 to a father who was and still is the snack business and a mother who worked at IBM for 40 years. While working at IBM, his mother also owned a small little bar called the New Yorker. Between his parents and his grandmother who catered events her whole life, the food and hospitality business was a natural. Norm moved to Charlotte in 1994 from Endicott, NY – an area known as the Southern Tier in Upstate New York. Prior to opening DNG, Norm was an original member of Carolina Beer and Beverage, a micro-brewery that now focuses on co-packing beverage products like Red Bull. He is currently a shareholder in Carolina Beverage Group, LLC, formerly known as Carolina Beer and Beverage.

One of Norm’s greatest joys with his occupation is his ability to live out his faith and give back to the community – serving breakfast to the homeless on Thanksgiving morning, March it Forward which gave $8,000 to different charities voted on by his staff and providing his time to countless non-profits to help them raise money through events for their donors.

Norm’s other greatest joys is spending time with his family. Norm is married to Stacey, and has three kids: Dani aged 9, Jacob aged 8 and McKenzie aged 6. Stacey owns her own company as well that focuses on productivity coaching to business owners, speaking engagements around the country highlighting generational differences and business productivity, and an online referral marketing program. There is never a dull moment in the Randall household.

Small tidbit most may not know: Norm was the youngest qualifier ever in the Empire State Games in New York for bowling at age 11. He also won two straight statewide Mathletes competitions in 4th and 5th grades.
